The Playground Bar & Grill is the newest addition to Fig’s Entertainment Group, created by entrepreneur and hospitality innovator Greg Figueroa—the name behind Melinda’s Hot Sauce, Fig’s Steakhouse, Fig’s Backyard, and Plowboys Club Cedar Creek Lake. Over the years, Greg has built a reputation for developing concepts that blend atmosphere, quality, and community into experiences people return to again and again.

What started with Melinda’s Hot Sauce growing into an award-winning brand recognized nationwide has evolved into a broader vision across restaurants and entertainment venues that prioritize connection as much as craft. Each project under the Fig name is built with the same goal in mind: creating places where people can gather, unwind, and genuinely enjoy their time together.

With The Playground, that vision takes a new direction. This indoor and outdoor gaming destination is centered around interactive play, social energy, and lighthearted competition. Guests can rotate between darts, pool, cornhole, shuffleboard, poker, mahjong, Connect 4, beer pong, and more, whether they’re stopping in for a casual night or participating in organized leagues and events.
